Michelin-kocken Jan Van de Voorde tar rodret på Dusit Thani Maldiverna

Dusit Thani Maldiverna har meddelat att Jan Van de Voorde utsetts till ny chefskock.

Med en mängd expertis och kreativitet från sin bakgrund i Michelin-restauranger i Belgien och Nederländerna, kommer kocken Jan att leda Culinary and Food and Beverage Departments i sin nya roll.

Kocken Jan har byggt en karriär fokuserad på att leverera exceptionell gästtillfredsställelse, skicklig problemlösning, effektiv kontroll av matkostnaden och noggrann HACCP-hygienhantering. Hans expertis sträcker sig till Nikkei-köket och omfattar starka ledaregenskaper, inklusive teamledarskap, beslutsfattande och budgetering.

Innan han började på Dusit Thani Maldives hade kocken Jan chefskockpositioner på Centara Grand Beach Resort Krabi, Dhigali Maldives Resort och Holiday Inn Resort Pattaya. I dessa roller nådde han betydande framgångar med att sänka matkostnaderna, förbättra gästernas tillfredsställelsepoäng och introducera nya kulinariska koncept.

Chef Jan is a graduate of Ter Groene Poorte hotel school in Bruges, Belgium, where he  obtained his Bachelor’s in Hotel Management in 1992. He is fluent in Dutch, French, and  English, with basic proficiency in German and Thai.
