Clima
The Maldives enjoys a tropical climate characterized by two distinct seasons â the dry season (northeast monsoon) and the wet season (southwest monsoon).
The dry season, which typically spans from December to April, boasts clear skies, abundant sunshine, and calm seas, making it the perfect time for beach lovers and water enthusiasts to visit. During this period, temperatures range from 25°C to 31°C (77°F to 88°F), creating ideal conditions for snorkeling, diving, and other water activities.
Conversely, the wet season, occurring from May to November, brings occasional rainfall and stronger winds. Despite the sporadic downpours, temperatures remain warm, ranging from 26°C to 30°C (79°F to 86°F). While some may shy away from visiting during this time, the wet season offers its own allure, including lower prices, fewer crowds, and the chance to witness the Maldives in a more tranquil state.
