Ba’theli – A Floating Lounge and Restaurant

Ba’theli, our signature overwater restaurant serves Maldivian and maritime spice-route-inspired dishes. The restaurant is fashioned from three interlinked traditional ba’theli cargo boats and is moored in the turquoise lagoon with westerly views over the shimmering sea. Ba’theli is open for sunset cocktails, dinner and post-dinner drinks every night and offers a six-course Maldivian heritage tasting menu as well as an a la carte menu. You can choose to eat dinner on the candle-lit deck underneath the stars, or indoors in air-conditioned comfort where you can watch nocturnal fish on the hunt, through the glass floor running down the middle of the restaurant.

Restaurante Ocean

Diners taste sensations are stirred at our Ocean Restaurant which is located on our white sandy beach with an expansive wooden terrace facing the endless horizon. Drawing inspiration from island cuisine, freshly caught fish is always on the menu and there is an extravagant choice of breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes. Healthy breakfasts feature booster shots, acai and chia bowls with crispy buckwheat, and tasty egg dishes and la carte classics. Lunch and dinner fare ranges from island-style appetisers, classic Indian and Asian comfort-food, to Mediterranean classics, burgers and a wide range of vegetarian and vegan dishes. Here, every bite is a tantalising reminder of what holiday’s taste like.

The Shoreline Wine room features vintages from the world’s best wine-producing regions as well as varietals from intriguing new world wineries. You may request a private wine tasting or wine flight led by our sommelier. We also feature a wide selection of sake, and our sommelier will suggest which sake is best suited to either meat, seafood or vegetable dishes.
