Kippax682023-12-21If you can, you should. I was a complete Maldives novice going into this, but it was my wife's dream honeymoon location, so needs must. Clare at Angelfish travel did an amazing job - she took my various requests - small, intimate resort, all inclusive, lots of activities - and produced a *very* short list, with a strong recommendation for Kudadoo. It was well over my original budget, so I took some serious persuading, but it was worth every penny. I fully appreciate how lucky we are that this place was even an option, and for many it never will be, but if you have the chance, you really should. It's been said before so no need to repeat at length, but the whole experience is first class. From your arrival in Male to the moment you get back to the airport, everything has been thought of. While you're at Kudadoo, it's out of this world - food, drink, spa, diving, facilities - everything. This shows in how quickly we got settled - on our first full day we felt like we'd been there a week. By the end of our 12 days it was really, really tough to leave. When it came to giving feedback, there was nothing at all to find fault with. Literally nothing is too much trouble for anyone at Kudadoo - from our amazing butler Anas to the resort manager Shameem. Of course they respond to your requests as any good resort would, but this is next level and designed so you get the best out of your holiday - from astronomy on the beach, to fishing tips, to which cocktails you should try. If you change your plans - or they need to change because of the weather or any other reason - it just happens, you don't need to think about anything. It's a small island, but they make you feel like you are the only people there. The second you leave your room, everything is magically cleaned and tidied, fridges are restocked etc. I have no idea how they do this, you never see any of it happen - I suspect Suneel is a magician. Prodivers at Hurawalhi were equally amazing - James and Colyne looked after us so well. My wife had never dived before and is now a huge convert. I'm going to need to break it to her that she won't get her own boat and dive butler most other places in the world... The only downside to all of this is what was supposed to be a once-in-a-lifetime extravagance is now something we are both desperate to experience again. So massive thanks to everyone at Kudadoo - we will (hopefully) be back!
P29Palma2023-12-19The best trip of our lives It has been the best week of our life. Kudadoo island is a paradise but what really makes it speciall is all the staff. From the first moment we landed in male we felt we were already in hands of incredible people. Profesionals, friendly, nice humor, i will be able to discribe it in many nice ways. The service was just so prefesional, they were all times taking care of or enjoyment. We had a person dedicate 24hours non stop making sure we were totally comfort. Shiham our wing man was just amazing . We got home today and we alreay miss him. Jajajaj. The residence, the island it self all was so well mantained, so nicellly kept in wonderfull shape. It was just incredible. It has been the best money spend in long time. Congratulations to All kudadoo family. We hardly recomend kudadoo if you visit maldives. It is paradise.

Tshidi M2023-11-19The Ultimate Lux Maldives Trip What a resort!We spent a week in what I would like to call the "the most amazing, beautiful resort" in Maldives. From the moment we landed, we were greeted by a friendly face (Ajit) who ushered us to the lounge. This was helpful after a long flight. When we arrived at the resort, the Managment team was there to welcome us, together with our butler, Naajy. Naajy was a superb butler who paid attention to detail at all times. He would check on us to ensure that all is according to our preferences and was genuine and friendly - we truly felt that he had our best interests at heart throughout the trip. On arrival, he ensured that our wine fridge was stocked with all the wines and champagnes we liked. Where he picked up a change in preferences, he was flexible to change things and ensured we remained happy and satisfied. He booked the best activities for us and ensured that any changes we needed to do, were done and communicated to us. He was also able to advise us on whats best to do, which was helpful when you have a lot of options to choose from but aren't entirely sure what you want! Whenever we had a special moment to celebrate, he ensured that the celebration was special and unique. Our residence was stunning, with great views, always clean and the turndown service was excellent. Naahiz, really ensured that the room was spotless - all the time. We also enjoyed all our spa treatments, the ladies were very outstanding, all the time. A special mention to Letsika, Henni, Normyn and Ketris, all the ladies were great (who treated us) but we had several treatments provided by them. The food at Kudadoo is without a doubt world class, everything is prepared with fresh ingredients and to perfection. Chef Harshall is a true gem and every meal we had was really amazing. The staff at the retreat was also great, special mention to Dharma and Ranjan from from bar - very knowledgeable and they understood my husbands preferences as they would also prepare his drinks, just the way he likes them - without my husband needing to ask. We had friendly efficient waiters that served us all the time, Richie, Abdullah and Obama - we had great engagements with them. The water sports team was also very excellent as they were always very willing to help us, patient and ensured we remained safe when doing the activities. I had a yoga instructor - Raj, and he was just phenomenal. My husband also had a great experience with the personal trainer. All in all, an amazing holiday and we appreciate the world class service we received from the team, a big thank you to the Resort Manager Shameem for ensuring things run smoothly during our stay. We definitely want to return.Mike K2023-11-13Unbelievable - All Aspects, Start to Finish My wife and I spent our honeymoon at Kudadoo and could not possible be more satisfied with the experience. Every aspect of our stay was perfect in every sense of the word. Upon arrival, we were greeted by our Butler Shiham, the resort manager Shameem, and multiple other members of the Kudadoo team. Everyone had a huge smile on their face, greeted us by name, and made us feel like we were at home from the very minute we stepped on the island. We were taken to our villa immediately (no need to waste any time checking in, as they had already done that for us prior to our arrival). The Villa could not possibly have been more beautiful and was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need to have an amazing stay. They also had a bottle of champagne, welcome snacks and treats, and decorations welcoming us to our home for the week. We were completely blown away and at a loss of words. Before we even arrived to the resort, our Butler Shiham had already curated a full itinerary of activities, meals, and spa treatments for each day of the trip based on the preferences we filled in to our pre-arrival survey. Shiham could not have possible been more friendly, attentive, and organized in every single moment of our stay. He immediately set up a group chat with us and told us to feel free to reach out at any hour of the day for absolutely anything we needed. He meant it. There was not a single message we sent him that he did not reply to within 10-15 seconds, no matter the time of the day. He continued to follow up with us throughout the day every day to see whether he could help schedule or rearrange activities, set up meals either in our villa or at the restaurant, or help with anything else. He even surprised us on multiple occasions with special experiences in our villa, including decorating the in-suite bathtub with beautiful flowers, setting up a special dinner on the beach, and a floating breakfast in the pool of our villa. He was absolutely amazing and made our stay so perfect and special. We are so grateful that we had him to take care of us and had so much fun talking and hanging out with him throughout our stay. The only downside was that it was so hard to say bye to him, as we both felt like we had made a new best friend during our stay. We promised him we would come back soon and will absolutely be requesting him as our butler again (if he's not already running the place by then!). This is the nicest, most beautiful, luxury resort in the world!!!
avogler2023-11-05There is nothing like it on earth! We just returned from an 8 night stay at Kudadoo. I would have given Kudadoo a higher star rating if it was an option. The trip was seamless. Upon picking up our luggage and going through customs we were met by a Kudadoo representative that took us to the sea plan check in, then off to the sea plane lounge. The lounge was very comfortable and there is even a deck outside to sit and watch the sea planes take off and land. After a short stay we were whisked off to our sea plane. It was a quick 45 minute flight, with one stop. We landed in between our resort and it’s sister resort, and were met by our butler, Anas. We had contact with Anas several weeks before we left for our trip. He is incredible. He thought of everything….meals, excursions, spa treatment. Anas made this trip extra special for us. I cannot say enough good things about him. The food at Kudadoo is awesome. I could go on and on about the food and cocktails—. It is so hard to believe how fantastic it is. It is the best my husband and I have ever had on a vacation. There were so many choices. We choose to have breakfast and lunch our room, and it never disappointed. In the evening we would go the retreat for a cocktail and dinner. You have to try their homemade ice cream it is to die for. We had dinner one evening art 5.8. It is something everyone should do. There is nothing like having dinner underwater and watching the fish, turtles, and eagle ray swim by. The sommelier was fantastic. We enjoyed a wonderful cheese, meat, and wine tasting with him. He brought out one of the best goat cheeses I have ever had. He was always available at dinner to give a great wine recommendation. He is also so knowledgeable about wine and cheese, when you visit, make sure you spend some time with him.. for us - we learned so much from him. The spa is everything you could ever want. The views from the treatment rooms over the ocean are breathtaking. The spa therapists were wonderful. I think we had almost every treatment possible, and not one did disappoint. My husband also had his first facial, and now he is hooked. We did serval tours, snorkeling, night snorkeling, jet skiing, private island, and charter the Bella to go swim the the mantas. Each one was great. But chartering the Bella was out of this world. The boat and crew are amazing. We were so fortunate to snorkel with the mantas. They are huge amazing creatures. We also were able to snorkel with the turtles and visit a local island. 8 hour was just the right amount of time that we were not rushed, and were able to see everything. The beach is great. There are cabanas and beach chairs. Anas kindly set them up for us every time we used the beach. For the most part it was our private beach as there was no one there but us. The room is more than beautiful. The outdoor shower was great. The amenities in the room were over the top. The bed is big and comfortable. There are even massage tables in the room if you want a massage in the room, vs the spa. And the pool….it is large and just…WOW- what a view. We can also easily snorkel from your room if you would like. The only bad was that were forced too return to reality and head home. Thank you Ali Shameen for running such a amazing resort. It would not be the same without out your attention to detail. Also, thank you for the astronomy lessons, my husband loved them. This is a small resort, which we personally love. The attention to detail for EVERYTHING is over the top. The entire staff always thought of everything and more that they could do for us. There are too many people to thank that I can’t name everyone names….but thank you to the chefs, the waiters, the bar staff, housekeeping, the spa ladies, the tour crew, and so many more. After 8 nights at Kudadoo you were no longer the staff— you became our friends. We cannot wait for our next visit to Kudadoo.

Peter V2023-10-25Beyond expectations Kudadoo is a small piece of heaven. From the second you arrive to the second you leave, you are pampered beyond your wildest expectations. We came for our 30th wedding anniversary so decided to splurge. Not inexpensive (but the adage you get what you pay for definitely applies here) but we loved it so much that we are coming again next year with our adult children and their spouses, booking 3 rooms. Perhaps not great for them because every trip after that one will pale in comparison! Our butler, Shahim, always went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect, all the time. If you run out of food and drink choices, you have a problem, because the food menu alone is over 20 pages long, plus you can ask for almost anything made-to-order. You can plan to do almost nothing and just relax in your opulent residence or have your day packed with activities both on and off the island. I highly recommend the (unlimited” spa services. We had 14 sessions over 9 days (don’t miss the very unique Himalayan salt-room experience). Book the hand-line fishing experience and then have the chef prepare your catch for lunch the next day. Don’t miss the manta ray excursion with the marine biologist - you will never forget it. A truly incredible trip.
