As we celebrated our 35th Anniversary, so did Prodivers Maldives \u2013 they first opened their doors to diving and snorkelling adventures in the Maldives on Kuredu at the same time the resort opened.<\/p>\n

In the early days of diving here on Kuredu Maldives<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

, it was exploration diving, discovering new dive sites and the wonderful marine life residing there; those intrepid first divers were mesmerised by the beauty of the reefs surrounding Kuredu and our resort became very popular with scuba divers and snorkellers. Fast-forward 35 years and we are still a thriving base for Prodivers, one of the largest dive centres in the Maldives; PADI instructors train here, beginners learn to breathe underwater for the first time and countless people experience the joy of diving with turtles, mantas and sharks, not to mention the huge array of colourful fish.<\/p>\n

The Prodivers team celebrated their birthday with a group dive to Coral Garden, just a few minutes offshore from Kuredu. It is a long-standing tradition of theirs to gather as many divers as possible in one place for an underwater photo to mark the occasion \u2013 you\u2019ll be glad to know that on a more \u2018normal\u2019 diving day, there are just a handful of divers going to any one site at a time!<\/p>\n
