To celebrate World Oceans Day<\/strong>, Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma Maldives<\/strong> in association with Parley for the Ocean (Maldives) facilitated a special coral reef cleaning scuba dive, bringing together certified scuba diving guests with Kandooma\u2019s own qualified scuba divers.<\/p>\n

The enthusiastic guests and the Kandooma team spent the afternoon cleaning the reef at the back of Kandooma island removing 3 Kg of rubbish including metals, plastic and fishing lines. On their return to the Kandooma Dive Centre, the group enjoyed refreshing drinks as they exchanged conversations about the activity. This collective effort not only contributed to the sustainability of our precious underwater ecosystem but also raised awareness about the importance of protecting our oceans and coral reefs.<\/p>\n
