If you love the ocean as much as we do at Komandoo Maldives<\/strong> you\u2019ll want to do all you can to help protect it and World Oceans Day, marked on 8th of June each year, endeavours to highlight the plight of the underwater world and rally support for its protection. The theme for the 2024 event is \u2018Catalyzing Action for Our Ocean & Climate\u2019 and seeks to bring the global community together, not just for a day, but long-term in a bid to give the oceans the attention and resources they deserve. The oceans get a disproportionately small quantity of our attention and resources considering they cover the majority of our planet and our reliance on them for food, jobs, and even as a major CO2 absorber and it\u2019s time to work together and change the tide, putting the health of the oceans at the top of the agenda.<\/p>\n
