Kept to a limit of four guests per trip to ensure a more exclusive experience while adhering to local fishing practices, Finolhu’s Big Game Fishing excursions take you on an exhilarating pursuit of some of the fastest and largest predatory fish in the tropical waters of the Baa Atoll.  From the stealthy mahi-mahi (dorado) to giant trevally and lightning-quick tuna, the local game fish each pose different challenges to test your skills and provide opportunities to learn about centuries-old fishing methods from the locals.

Whether you choose to try the hand-line fishing method perfected by the Maldivians or prefer to stick with your own tried-and-tested techniques, a variety of fishing methods and newly-fitted boats are available for this excursion.  A local Fishing Master accompanies each trip, to share his knowledge and insights and ensure every excursion is a fun, safe and successful adventure.
