LUX* South Ari Atoll Maldives culinary team returned home triumphant after a stellar performance at the prestigious annual Hotel Asia Culinary Challenge held from 13 to 15 May 2024. The event, featuring a record-breaking 692 participants from 71 resorts across the Indian Ocean region, is an acclaimed platform for showcasing culinary excellence. The three-day extravaganza included an exhibition at Dharubaaruge in Malé, the Culinary Challenge at Maldives National University, and the awards ceremony at Crossroads Maldives.

LUX* 南阿里环礁 not only secured the coveted title of Most Outstanding Chef by the resort’s Senior Sous Chef Barun Kumar Singh, but also dominated several key categories, bringing home a harvest of 31 awards: 6 Gold Medals, 8 Silver Medals, 8 Bronze Medals, and 8 Merit Certificates.
