Teleurgesteld door het gebrek aan opties tijdens hun reizen, waagden ze zich naar de Filipijnen om cacaoteelt te bestuderen. Hun ervaring leidde tot de oprichting van OPM in 2016, ter ondersteuning van Filipijnse cacaoboeren. Vandaag de dag, met de steun van 42 impactinvesteerders uit verschillende landen, blijven Luchie en Eman zich inzetten voor fijne cacao en gezonde chocolade via Co-Chocolat. Hun toewijding aan het verkrijgen van hoogwaardige ingredi\u00ebnten en het promoten van duurzame landbouwpraktijken heeft niet alleen het chocoladeproductieproces verbeterd, maar ook een gemeenschapsgedreven merk gecre\u00eberd dat zich richt op het leveren van uitzonderlijke smaak en voedingswaarde. De chocolade van Co-Chocolat wordt in microbatches gemaakt, waardoor elk stuk een bewijs is van kwaliteit en zorg. Door bonen te betrekken van kleine boeren die trots zijn op hun producten, ondersteunt het merk niet alleen lokale gemeenschappen, maar garandeert het ook de premiumkwaliteit van zijn chocolade.
