The Clean Up the World campaign, just like every year since it was launched in 1993, saw millions of people around the world come together to show their commitment to the environment by cleaning up their community. Komandoo Malediven<\/strong> is known for its pristine surroundings and sustainability efforts and we were proud to join this global campaign.<\/p>\n

While Komandoo\u2019s Green Club regularly organises events aimed at improving our natural and social environment \u2013 including monthly beach and reef clean-ups \u2013 the annual Clean Up the World event is one that brings together eco-conscious Champions and guests in the largest numbers. We joined forces with the team at Prodivers and snorkelled the lagoon areas to remove any debris washed in by the currents. It\u2019s vital for the marine life that we continuously remove anything that doesn\u2019t belong in the natural environment and at Komandoo every day<\/a> is Clean-Up Day!<\/p>\n
